About Terra

In July, I embarked on a multi-day trail running adventure in the Italian Dolomites with 14 friends. Ten miles in on the very first day, I sprained my ankle badly. The pain brought tears, but stopping the adventure never crossed my mind. The next morning, I duct-taped my ankle, packed my fast-pack, grabbed my running poles, set off with gratitude for each step, and hiked a modified route to our mountain hut. Day by day, I adapted, tears lessening, everyday duct-taping, eventually running again, and finished the six-day journey strong. For me, the way forward is about bravely taking the next step, appreciating the ability to take that next step, savoring the moment, and honoring what’s possible as an opportunity.

This “find a way” spirit isn’t just how I live; it’s the heart of my approach to coaching. Each setback or challenge I’ve encountered in my life has deepened my understanding of self-compassion, which, in turn, fuels resilience, growth, and a more profound love for life. These experiences have shaped my mission: to illuminate the path for women to stand naked in front of a full-length mirror and champion the Goddess she stands before, while influencing and inspiring those in her footsteps to do the same.

I guide others in rediscovering their own essence, their inner strength, and in living fully, no matter what life brings. I call this Well-Living -- a practice that moves beyond overcoming and thriving to truly flourishing, grounded in the joy and fulfillment of living as one’s whole self. As a coach, I am incredibly passionate about guiding women to turn toward themselves in celebration, lessening the self-criticism, lessening the self-doubt, the self-minimizing, the excuses, the anxious tendencies, and the obstacles to joy that remain all to prevalent into midlife.

Professionally, I bring over 25 years of experience in health and wellness. My career began after receiving my degree in chemistry, then bridging what the sciences declared with what the social behaviors demonstrated. Here, I built a foundation in health through international consulting and wellness coaching, guiding clients across cultures. Living abroad in Europe while navigating my first high-risk pregnancy gave me firsthand insight into adaptability—a cornerstone quality I now guide clients to discover within themselves, fostering the “find a way” or Well-Living approach to life.

Over the years, I’ve worked with organizations, teams, families, and individuals, from corporate settings to the kitchen table, always with the goal of fostering growth and joy. Outside of coaching, you might find me running a mountain trail, cooking up colorful meals with community, dancing the night away with friends, packing up for a world-adventure with my two kids, or savoring the stillness of a sunrise swim—because to me, Well-Living is about the full spectrum of life experiences, and Well-Living is what builds badassery.

Oh, and the things on my tummy in the photos? I forget not everyone wears them.  I've been living with diabetes for 35 years --one device provides hormone replacement (insulin) and the other helps adjust the dosing as part of my Well-Living journey.
