ENEMY

ENEMY

This song by Muscadine Bloodline has a country twang which isn’t for everyone so the lyrics are below. It’s caught my attention this week, appropriately.

Until you are able to feel this, that you are the one keeping you from what’s possible, you will continue to project onto situations, circumstances, conditions and others.

Let go of any arrival, that is not the point, it is in the awareness, the journey and the connections. Freedom is found in this dynamic perspective.

Perhaps the question to ask is, “what is possible?” Ask this from a place of unknowing in contrast to what is known.

I kinda kick ass at supporting my clients during this process… if you are looking for guidance, looking for freedom, reach out.

Get curious and let the magic unfold.

happy Friday…

ENEMY

Muscadine Bloodline

Every night I lay awake

I know something needs to change

Making all the same mistakes

It's like regret is my middle name

Whether I'm up, whether I'm down

It's all on me to turn it around

I could go left, I could go right

But ain't no walking away from this fight

My only enemy is me

I'm up against something I can't be

Well I'm good at putting on a show

But in my mind it ain't how it goes

My only enemy is me

I've tried everything I know

Nothing ever seems to help

Wishing I could take this weight off my shoulders

Saying put it back on the shelf

Well I could just run but I can't hide

From this feeling that I'm feeling inside

Can't get out, I'm too far in

In a battle I know I can't win 'cause

My only enemy is me

I'm up against something I can't be

Well I'm good at putting on a show

But in my mind it ain't how it goes

My only enemy is me

My only enemy is me

My only enemy is me

My only enemy is me

I'm up against something I can't be

Well I'm good at putting on a show

But in my mind it ain't how it goes

My only enemy is me

Enemy is me
